ASME SA209 Embedded Finned Tubes are engineered for boiler economizers where efficient heat recovery and long-term operational reliability are required. These finned tubes combine ASME SA209 alloy steel base tubes with high-purity AL1060 aluminum fins, which are mechanically embedded into precision-machined helical grooves on the tube surface. The embedding process creates a secure mechanical bond that maintains excellent heat transfer performance while reducing fin loosening during thermal cycling.

Compared with plain tubes, embedded finned tubes provide a significantly larger external heat transfer area, allowing economizers to recover more waste heat from flue gases, improve boiler efficiency, and reduce overall fuel consumption. Manufacturing Process

The external surface of the ASME SA209 tube is machined with continuous helical grooves. AL1060 aluminum strip is then inserted into the grooves under controlled pressure.
